How to Set Up a VPN on Android 4.X | L2TP/IPsec

How to Configure

1. Open the menu and choose Settings
2. Tap Wireless and Network or Wireless Controls, depending on your version of Android
3. Tap VPN Settings
4. Tap Add VPN
5. Tap Add L2TP/IPsec PSK VPN
6. Tap VPN Name and type in descriptive name
7. Tap Set VPN Server and type your server hostnames (your vpn address get it from your VPN provider)
8. Tap Set IPSec pre-shared key and enter “thisisourkey”
9. Uncheck Enable L2TP secret
10. Open the menu and choose Save

How to Connect

1. Open the menu and choose Settings
2. Tap Wireless and Network or Wireless Controls, depending on your version of Android
3. Tap the VPN configuration from the list
4. Enter your username and password (use correct capitalization)
5. Tap Remember user name
6. Tap Connect
